Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering with our congregation's youth and children ministries! We have many different ways to plug in to teach, mentor, and lead in our CYF (Children, Youth, and Family) programming.

Please read the decriptions of each volunteer role and prayerfully consider volunteering!

Kids Club Teacher

Kids Club is our weekly 'Sunday School' programming for PreK-4th grade kids. During Sunday and Wednesday services, teachers lead a group of kids through an age appropriate (and fun!) pre-prepared lesson. Teachers may also be paired with a youth helper to help lead the lesson.

The time commitment to be a Kids Club Teacher can be as frequent or infrequent as you would like and teaching schedules are coordinated by Emily Graff.

In-Betweens Volunteer

In-Betweens is our pre-confirmation youth group for 4th-6th graders and runs from 7:15 pm-8:15 pm on Wednesday nights. Volunteers will help lead small group check-ins with participants and assist Pastor Derek in leading games and conversations.

In-Betweens Volunteers are new role this year, and we are hoping to have a rotation of 1-2 volunteers each week. A commitment of at least one Wednesday a month would be great!

Confirmation Mentor

Confirmation is an important time of faith exploration and Confirmation Mentors are an essential part of our program. Mentors help to lead the 7th and 8th grade confirmation students through small group check ins, discussions, and activities.

The time commitment for Confirmation Mentors is as many Wednesdays as possible. Consistency is important for building relationships in confirmation, but we also know that schedules get busy! There will be substitute mentors available for weeks a mentor can not make it.

High School Ministries Volunteer

As a High School Ministries Volunteer, you would be an as-needed resource to help lead, drive, and build relationships with our high school youth group. We usually meet on the second Sunday of each month from 6:30-9:00 pm for Bible study and games, and hope to add some off-campus activities this year as well!

This is a new volunteer position, so the time commitment may be a little sporadic. Signing up here just allows Pastor Sarah to know who she can ask in the event that the high school crew needs some help!
